LOG-NET Listed on U.S. Customs Official ABI Software Vendors List
In response to trade community requests, the Office of Information and Technology has assembled a list of companies/persons offering data processing services to the trade community for the Automated Broker Interface (ABI). Inclusion on this list does not constitute any form of an endorsement by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as to the nature, extent or quality of the services that may be provided.
The lists includes software providers for ABI entry, drawback (DV), protest (PV), Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), In-bond (QP/WP), Importer Security Filing (ISF) and Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) services who have developed or who will provide upon request software packages for handling ABI data. Also listed are service bureaus (SB) that act as a communications source for data transmission to ACS. These organizations are in the business of transmitting and receiving Customs data for ABI participants.
Each ABI participant, regardless of the computer hardware and/or software used, must successfully complete a period of intensive testing and qualification with Customs/ACS in order to be approved for various levels of ABI operations.
